Coming Soon:
The Chicago Cowboy (working title)
a devised play

Currently in development, this production will be a devised piece set in 1930s Chicago. It is inspired by the director and writer's grandparents and explores the relationship between the Jewish and Black communities of Chicago in that period.

Using live Jazz for atmosphere and to aid in exploring the issues, it will be set against the backdrop of the politics of the time - Roosevelt's New Deal, American isolationism in the face of the Second World War and the recent history of mob violence in the city.
